Below is a description of how we collect, use, and deal with the information, including personal information, which you provide us with, and which is generated as a part of the contract that is formed when you use our services and products. Processed information

“Customer Data”, is Personal Data connected to the Service – e.g. name, address, email, telephone number and social security number. It also includes information about which Service you use, and how you use them, order, user-ID, password and other information you have left when you have been in contact with us.

“Traffic Data”, is Personal Data connected to what happens when you use our Services. Traffic Data is used with the objective to send electronic messages through an electronic communications network when you use the Services. The Traffic Data is also used to invoice your use of the Services, and for instance, shows who you have communicated with, the time that the communication started and ended, the duration of the communication and what networks were used.

”Email data”, is data such as text and attachments in emails that are sent or received on email accounts that have been integrated with the app by the Customer. Currently, integrations with Office 365 email accounts are supported. We do not store emails on our servers. Also, we do not share such data with any third-party service provider. For reasons of speed, email data may be cached, in encrypted form, in the client. The cache is cleared after Sign Out.

Additional limits on the use of Email data: Notwithstanding anything else in this Privacy Policy, the use of that data will be subject to these additional restrictions:

  1. The services will only use access to read, write, modify, or control email message bodies (including attachments), metadata, headers, and settings to provide a web email client that allows users to compose, send, read, and process emails and will not transfer this Email data to others unless doing so is necessary to provide and improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  2. The services will not use this Email data for serving advertisements.
  3. The services will not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, doing so is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, or for the service’s internal operations and even then only when the data have been aggregated and anonymized.

Calendar and contact data”, is data from your contacts and calendars on accounts that have been integrated with the app by the Customer. Currently, integrations with G Suite and Office 365 accounts are supported. We do not store calendar event data or contact data from connected accounts on our servers. Also, we do not share such data with any third-party service provider. For reasons of speed, calendar & contact data may be cached, in encrypted form, in the client. The cache is cleared after Sign Out.

Additional limits on the use of Calendar and contact data: Notwithstanding anything else in this Privacy Policy, the use of that data will be subject to these additional restrictions:

  1. The services will only use access to read, write, modify, or control calendar events and contacts to provide a web client that allows users to create, edit, read, and process calendars and contacts and will not transfer this Calendar and contact data to others unless doing so is necessary to provide and improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  2. The services will not use this Calendar and contact data for serving advertisements.
  3. Third-party services data”, is data from external services that have been integrated with the app by the Customer. Once integrated, the provider of a Third Party Service may share certain information with the app. For example, if a customer relationship management application is integrated to permit information to be imported to the Customer, we may receive names and email addresses of contacts, along with additional information that the application has elected to make available to facilitate the integration. When a Third Party Service is integrated by the Customer, Lynes is authorized to connect and access information made available through the integration in accordance with our agreement with the Third Party Provider.

Processing purpose

The information about you collected, and generated when our services are being used, are handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swedish supplementary data protection act and for the following purposes:

  • To fulfill obligations within current contracts for the delivery of services and products.
  • To provide service information and updates.
  • To evaluate, develop and improve our services, products and offerings.
  • To administer and customize your visit and access to selected parts of our online services.
  • To deliver direct marketing material.
  • To implement marketing and customer analysis.
  • To fulfill our obligations under the law.

Information disclosure

Under the following circumstances, we may share information about you:

  • For employees, subcontractors and other companies that Lynes Technologies Sweden AB cooperates with, to provide our services and products.
  • For companies that Lynes Technologies Sweden AB partners with to provide offers and other promotions for products and services that may interest you.
  • Lynes Technologies Sweden AB may also use and share aggregated information and statistics to monitor our services. In our capacity as Data Controller, we may assign the processing described above to a partner or supplier, e.g. Zendesk Inc (ticketing system), FrontApp Inc (E-mail system). Such processing will not be made for other purposes than as described above. Some partners and suppliers may have parts of their businesses in countries outside the EU/EEC (so-called Third Countries). Transfer is only made to such countries that offer an adequate level of data protection according to the EU Commission, or if the supplier has a legally binding and enforceable instrument that guarantees the safety of the Personal Data.

Information protection and access to personal data

Lynes Technologies Sweden AB takes appropriate technical and organizational security measures, consistent with industry standards, to ensure that all personal data processed, are protected from unauthorized access. A limited proportion of employees have access to information about you and handling of the information is regulated. All those employees have entered into secrecy agreements.

Rights to Access to Personal data

You have the right to obtain from Lynes Technologies Sweden AB confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and the following information:
(a) the purpose/s of the processing;
(b) the categories of personal data concerned;
(c) the recipients or categories of recipient to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients in third countries;
(d) where possible, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored, or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that period;
